Our Intake Process for 2021 is now open! If you are interested in joining us for and information workshop, please fill in the below and we’ll be in touch
We offer an information (and selection) workshop for prospective students to experience more about MIECAT and our Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice degree. If you are contemplating enrolment, participation in a workshop is a part of the application process.
In preparation for the workshop, we ask that you first view our Information video, “A guide to the MIECAT Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice” (https://miecat.edu.au/information-sessions-blank/welcome-to-miecat-masters-in-therapeutic-arts/), which will provide you with detailed practical information about our course. You will also have the opportunity to access a number of testimonials of past and present students and introduction videos to (virtually) meet some of the Miecat staff. Finally, we invite you to take a look at our Facebook and Instagram feeds to learn more about the rich and diverse ways in which the MIECAT learning ripples out beyond the classroom.
Once you have immersed in exploring these online resources, please join us in an experiential, hands-on workshop. You will participate alongside up to three other participants, with one of our teaching staff facilitating. It is here that you will have the opportunity to experience some of the MIECAT processes firsthand, to support you in coming to know more about our Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice and whether it is a right fit for you.
On a practical note, to participate in the workshop, you will need access to some basic art-making materials (nothing fancy) along with your presence and curiosity. Application documentation is to be submitted after the full completion of a workshop.
